We have an ongoing debate concerning Gekos and crew. Are the Gekos restricted to one crew per ship or one crew per fleet?

Either way does the ruling apply to minors in the Geko fleet since they are in the fleet?

We have stopped playing Gekos because of the confusion we have on the rule. How does each group play this?

-Howdy. The rules from my understanding state only one crew per ship and that crew must be in the fleet, which is meant to be friendly crew only. The wording in the rules:

"Crew may not be played or moved against a Gekonauak ship. Only one crew in the fleet may be in play on a Gekonauak ship. While a crew is on the ship, other crew may not be played or moved to the ship. This does not affect any player's ability to perform there and back missions to or against the ship. "

I'd say you can have one friendly crew per ship, no more. Three Geko ships, three crew able to be played to ships, one per.

And, as far as minor empire ships in a Geko deck go, the rule does not apply. You, and your opponent, can have as many crew on them as you want.

It is only ships from the Geko empire that have this rule.
