Are there any other cards that double abilities?

I would say yes. If a crew could generate 4 research the DB would double it and if a crew would state 4 less research the DB would double that.

 just my opinion.

not sure at this time about other cards that doubles abilities i'll have to check out card list. I'm sure there is.

The cards that double abilities that I can think of off the top of my head
are a Promotion, Main Bridge, some Corporate card (I forget which one),
and a few others.

But, doesn't the Duo-Brain specifically say it doesn't double command
points, etc?

well, Duo-Brain actually states that it doesn't double damage points.

Wouldn't that also mean negative damage points?

I would think so... damage reduction is not considered a card ability as far
as I remember. After all, isn't that why there's the A3 Admiral's Rear from
CC?

Damage reduction are not points that are produced, so I don't think the
Duo-Brain would double any damage reduction.

No, that card exists simply for its humor.

Uh... we use it a lot... and not just because it's funny... specifically
because of the doubled damage modifier... park an Admiral with a rear
on a base on a military reservation... then drop a Base Commander, or a
Tac Officer on it... fierce.

yeah, that is why I built the Geko deck for Eaglepreacher with them. Get a couple of the M2 Geko Gnats and you are absorbing the first dozen damage to the ship.

fierce.
