Another week, another couple of noobie questions.

I've noticed some cards give benefits if they are on a pirate ship. Other than the Nagiridni, the Corporate Pirates & generic pirate ships are there any other pirate ships? Do all Bolaar ships count as pirate ships?

Second question, some crew cards say they can capture another crew, what is the benefit of this?

for most part capture means kill,A certain base changes this,

um Vincenes tribe are pirate yes Bolar are Violarer are I think that all

Pirate races are:

Vinciennes, Violator, Generic Ships that say "Pirate", Bolaar, Corporate Pirate and Nagiridni.

You should also look at the Leopan crew. For some of them capture acyually means capture.
