Hola

This card reads...Terrain damage from this units Aesthetic weapons is treated as card damage....Does this card make Special Weapons Mounts Aesthetic if on the proper ship?

It should, it's an equipment card being played to special weapon mounts.
One of the threads a few before this discusses just such issues in detail.

AS per the rules it does. But take into consideration it is foreign technology and discarded after use, so after firing the weapons damage isnt card damage.

as for the huh!... it was a little vague. Yes the weapon mounts become aeasthetic weapons, but the cleansing ammo is good for only one turn. So while you turn the mounts into aesthetic weapons I was only pointing out that the weapons damage turning into card damage is good for only the one turn, as per the rules on the cleansing ammo...discarded after use.
