The Stellar Gas Cloud states that No weapons fire may
affect the terrain or cards stacked with it. It also states
all other functions are not affected.
If an escort tries to intercept points of damage from a
targeted ship, does the escort take damage from weapons
fire while under the Stellar Cloud? Merry Christmas

logically it does not make sense for a ship that is intercepting a volley aimed at ship in space can do that while hiding under a cloud that protects it from weapons damage. what about the part of the interceptor's rule that says it takes the damage (often multiplied)? but there are rules that are not logical and this may be one.
