The H6 Surface Vortex reads: "-Played against a terrain card.
-Causes an amount of damage to the terrain equal to the current strength of the terrain card's shields."
So let's say somebody plays this card on my T8 Chronos with 8 shields.
What happens?

You take 8 pts of card damage...applied against the shields of your T8
Chronos. This card is basically designed to strip the shields off a planet.
