Everybody talks about their most favorite, what is your least favorite empire?

To play?

To play against?

I don't like playing against Scorpead, but that might be because the Scorp player in my group targets me with everything he has every game. :(

-Howdy. Krebiz, with the cards i have and have seen, aren't bringing anything to the table to give them an advantage over Argonian or any other generic race. I suppose there *might* be something out there that is accessible and capitalizes on the joining/separation thing with their ships, but i haven't seen it.

They do have race-specific equipment which helps, but being bland and having ships that don't bring anything to the table that makes them more attractive would lead to few decks built around them when compared to Scorpead, POT, Tufor, etc that have card rules and game mechanics that give them a bit more flavor with a competitive advantage.

As for my favorites, i have enjoyed being beaten by most every race, but the J'xar are the ones i hate most. The reaction to return to hand sucks. Granted, we were not playing it quite right a few times an di lost cards in play i shouldn't have, but those isolated cases didn't/wouldn't chang ethe outcome. Tough to make them go away with the decks i brought to the table.

For me to play, there isn't a race i really rank lower than the rest. Then again, i've only played decks using Infected, P.O.T., Dragon, Mechad, little bit of Clydon in the Reaction Deck, and general Indirigan. All of those i didn't mind, what made those more or less enjoyable tended to be the other cards i put around them and if the deck as a whole fell flat or actually showed something for at least a turn or two.....Lobo

Building an effective Krebiz deck is difficult because of the capsule
situation. It's very similar to the problems you run into with Clydons and
warcraft.

Krebiz can be made into an effective deck if you do it right though; make
them an artifact race and they can be pretty devastating. We have a player
in our group who has a Krebiz deck and he keeps a Monolith and some of
the cards that let you double artifiact effects, and recover artifacts or
prevent them from being discarded. Also, with a Homeworld, Monoliths
are doubled, so all Krebiz ships get +2 armor, or -2 from every volley, or
something like that; I don't remember for certain off the top of my head.
But, done right, Krebiz can be formidable.

i hate playing agasint my uncles (bignea)dragons. pain in the ass with all the moltings and whatever he puts on them. althought i do play scorpead, it sucks i have to use either heavy weopons OR phasers not both so its hard to target multiple people.  he has some ability that makes a few dragons immune to fire, or heavy weopns only crap lol.  but least favorite to play, i have no clue i have only played scorpead and corporate.

Orgons are scary little blobs, and don't you ever underestimate them. The card damage is horrible and their application in almost any deck is limitless. I'm currently in progress of building a deck of these little space bastards that is inspired by Aramax's atrocious blob based space rape deck. Jelly-fish paint-vomit amorphous dragons hurt so bad.......

I recently aquired a full compliment of Orgons, I'm going to use them as
the minor empire in my Dragon deck.

The best Orgon is probably the D5 S l a g - it has no engagement cost, so you can use the 3 Card Damage and 1 Physical Damage on the turn you play it. If you're willing to put in a T10 Intergalactic Void you can play the higher strength Orgon engaged, doing their full card & physical camage. Combined with the fact that Orgons are D class "dragons" and benefit from anything that affects "dragons," including Dragon Lairs, Moltings, and all that other stuff they make a great Minor in a Space Dragon deck.

(and before you wonder, sl*g is apparently a curse word, while smegma isn't)

The T10 Intergalactic Void is a card I consider an essential card for a
Dragon deck. I'm still pondering the idea of putting two lairs and two
defended territories in my reserve for my Dragon deck. I was thinking one
of the T7's and one of the T6's.
