-Well, biegel, i don't think they need 'help' so much as groups need to take a pill and calm down the competitiveness if thsi truly is a problem.
For instance, if i wanted to play nothing but Krebiz all the time, i would do so and my opponent wouldn't bat an eye. I might even win a few. Why? Because, unlike the majority of people that play card games, we play for the social benefit of chattin' it up and getting to play together. We aren't keeping score (at least i'm not) on how many wins i have versus losses, and i actually *like* playing races that are at a disadvantage. If i win a game with that particular race, i am pleasantly surprised.
Kind of like inour latest booster draft, when i was able to pull out a win even though that big ol' S10 hit the table early. Odds were against me, and i won. Was it because of luck, skill , my opponent letting me win? Don't know, don't care. It was a fun game and it was nice to pull off an upset. But even if i had lost, it's okay.
Yes, i post decks and questions because i want to be a better player and have a better chance to win. But that is also balanced by my primary goals of playing GE with Galaktische, which do not revolve around the win.
Long-winded b.s. over. To your original post, try playing the Clydons as though the craft played to carriers combines with them, adding strength, weapons and shields to the carrier. Play the reactionary ones, dash in the rule that allows more than one reaction card played in reaction to something, you can get one helluva ship in play to surprise yer opponent.....Lobo
