Assuming a play group of 4 people, is it worth stocking in your deck?

Everyone in my group stocks at least two, I run all four. They've always been useful when I've had one in my hand.

-I don't stock it in any of my duel decks because my opponent doesn't play tech breakthroughs all that often. If i played against a group of experienced players and thought i would hit one or two, i might consider including it but i do not often run Occurences very hi.

I usually only put 5 occurence cards in most of my decks, a combo of time skips, shipping delays, breakdowns, or whatever fits the deck but usuallly only the minimum number.....Lobo

In my group (3-5 players), everyone runs the max number of tech breakthroughs, so it's an ok idea to have 4. Sometimes they find their way into reserve fleets.

I have never been able to play one....either it comes out after someone has a
tech breakthrough or....I get it and no one plays a breakthrough.

A waste of a card space if you ask me.

I actually got one in my hand the last time we played, but didn't get to use
it before the game ended. I was hoping I might, but oh well. I use it as a
placeholder for occurrences.

Well, here is a thought. You can place it in your reserve, so everyone at the table knows you have it in your hand.

Too easy to stop...If I knew he had one in his hand I would just wait until I
had a card canceling action to play along with it...like an anomaly portal or a
time skip or some other card that let's me stop his card play from affecting
mine.

my group always has the max of these cards. but then of course i try to take it, then someone else lays theirs down and grabs it instead

I actually pulled on off against Galactus in a two player game a few weeks
ago. He played an O6 and I stole it from him. :grin:

He uses a LOT of Tech Breakthroughs, so I'm going to start using Stolen
Tech's a LOT more. :D
