I think it would be interesting and helpful if you old Salts took the time to create interesting new decks to post for example for Newbees to review for ideas for decks that we might build. Others could comment on the +'s and -'s that they observe in the creation. I believe it would be helpful in understanding all the ins and outs. Lets start with a Smaller Deck Say 75 card max.

Lobo, you should post your Orgon deck - its a bit nasty.
Did I just tell Lobo to show everyone his Orgon?
Damn, now I'm a porn spammer! :P

Isn't 80 cards the minimum for a deck size? I have 3 100-card decks I'm about ready to post. A deck subforum would be great. :)

Well, technically the minimum deck size is only 40.
You have to have 8 card types, and 5 cards in each type.
Now, go ahead and ask me the minimum deck size to make the deck actually competitive.

Seriously, Lobo's Orgon deck htis you with damage that is very hard to reduce, escape, prevent. He should really post it.

60 - 80 will work in a duel, but I'd think you'd want more in a multi-player game.

60 would be bare bones, and would not be able to handle most other dueling decks.
I'd say 80-100 in a dueling deck would be ideal.
100-150 (possibly 175) in a multiplayer.

-I haven't been able to log into the forums for the last week or tow, so apologies no deck post. I tore down the Orgon deck to make it more centered on multi-player format (included more cards that affect the table when multiple opponents are present) and a bit more fluff instead of damage.
The deck was built with one thing in mind - the letter X. I wanted as many X's as possible from card actions, and loaded up with monsters and all the orgons i could find. The new deck has more Dragons (now the main empire) and more monsters, but also more fluff. We'll hopefully see how it plays out soon.
As for posting decks, i think i'm the only one here who ever does that on a regular basis! I had planned a 75 card deck but have been less-focused on GE recently. I should be able to put that together this week and will certainly post it for all to see. Have a good weekend all.

-And where the hell is the edit button? Not seeing the logic in removing that, if it was in fact removed.
