Ok Im looking for concenses on this.

The C4 Soldier of fortune allows opponents to fire the weopons of one of your ships by"Paying the engagement cost"

Ive been putting them on Tranoan Patrol ships which have no engagement cost.

WHATAUTHINK?

What I think is, that I'm not sure what, if anything, you are asking.

;)

And that is not exactly what the card says:

-When in play on an independent or minor empire ship in the fleet, any opponent may allocate the ship's engagement cost to control the ship for 1 player turn. That opponent may not use the ship to target the fleet.

So, even if that cost is zero, an opponent can pay that cost to control your ship.
