The C9 Imperial General's text states that combat capable crew get bonuses when the General is on a base. Who exactly are combat capable crew? Would characters like Security Officer, Marine, Boarding Party & Bounty Hunter count? I'm thinking yes but I want to make sure.

Also would playing any automation card on a character prevent the card M2 Dimentional Dementia being played on that character?

The whole "combat capable' crew has been touchy subject. My old group came to the conclusion that anything that said in the function section about combat or killing crew was considered combat capable.

As for the automaton I would rule the Dimensional Dementia would work, as it would be akin to scrambling the neurocircuits, health affecting cards would be more physical- injury or illness.

two subjects that are totally open to interpretation.

Combat capable crew are any crew that can kill or capture.

Dimensional Dimentia would not work, because it is a health affecting card. Again this is open to interpretation, let your group decide.

It wouldn't prevent you from playing the Dimentia, only prevent the Dimensia from working.
