Time to derail this thread. Vektreans can use foreign tech; so that applies

So I could do something like put an E10 Subspace Stabilizers on a Flagstar,
then drop an E9 Shroud or E6 Deflection Transfer Device on it, yes? :D

And, no, I don't want the thread to be derailed, I hope you don't mind.

 And, to ansswer your question:

 - Vektrean ships can use adapted technology: Vektrean ships may use foreign technology cards without any restrictions. In addition, an exclusive technology card may be used on a Vektrean ship if that ship possesses a card that would normally provide the ability to use a foreign technology card.

Technically, no. The rules say "Vektrean ships can use adapted technology."| MogwaiSC wrote:

I've been a long believer that the rules, both on the cards and the rulebook itself, needs a revision because there are countless places where they say "ships" and should have said "units."

I wonder if there's some revisionist history going on here...

No, not the new owner. *I* did it. I want to start to get in the habit of creating new thread instead of derailing other peoples threads.

This way if something important comes up it isn't buried on the tail end of another discussion.

Which is why I put in the above comment into my reply.

So back with the Vektrean thing... Eric said he thought it should say
 units, and I agree.

However, on another tack, the T/B's do say "Vektrean" in their title,
so they are officially Vektrean, so shouldn't THAT allow the T/B's to
 use foreign tech?

As a house rule, sure. But, if you are playing GE, the rules state SHIPS. T/Bs are not ships.
