 a little longer I was supposed to have my own monthly fiction section

in the Galactic Fire magazine,Im the Bob Peterson that wrote 'Command Decisision"I had sent in 3 short stories,Command Decission was one along w/ a funny one about Orgons that Gekonauk hated,and the one Im going to try and recreate here,by the time I wrote this one I had decided that I was going to do a long series about the POT escourt 'Bodygaurd II and her crew.I also had paid for a promo card that never came out of The Luitenent from Command Decision(sweet promo too ,sigh)So here is the story that was schedualled to be printed in GF#4 as best as I can remember

                 Hen House

   "Akru nebular Debris field on sensors,Sir"

   "Primary power at 97%,compesating"

     "Shields reporting  ready"

   More voices on the Bridge of the POT escourt "Body Guard II" spouted report after report,but the one thing Capt. Aramax wanted to know was lacking in all the reports."Any Flux in temporal ranges?"Aramax said in a quick impatent voice(It was everybodys job on the bridge to not just follow his orders,but they drilled to anticipate them).A petit blond at the secondary science station he did not recgonise blurts"Less than .008 Varience in Background temporal energy,Not enough to report,Sir".Aramax shot a glance at his first officer,Lt Jones,and she sprang to remove the offending science officer from the bridge.

  " Sensor contact!".

"Three ship class life forms exiting debris field,on intecept course!"

"Identify contacts"

"Just a moment sir,Contacts 1 and 2 are size class 4 Dragonesses,giving off very high Radiation signature and the third..."

"Oh My God-Its a male!"

"Signal battlecruiser"Manhood","Bodyguard on intercept"Aramax almost whispers."Whats the status of the spycutter?"The capt of the cutter was ..unreliable on a good day."Looking Glass is reversing on thrusters"

  The sudden sickness in his belly Aramax was waiting for came at last.He was still on the bridge yet now it seemed to strech into infinity,his crew were ghosts and the tall thin dark man apeared.

  Alex,good to see you again!The temporal engineer exclained in a voice that echoed to infinity."Lovecraft,your such a drama queen"snapped Aramax"Are you ready?"Alex,Alex,Alex.."Lovecraft meanderd(The Captian hated the shortened form of his first name and the time traveller knew it)"Alex you must really calm that Serbian temper of yours""Thats especially funny"Aramax responded"since I have only your word of my background,can we get to it,I have a battle to fight"

"Ah,well I am there before you need me"said the navigator in Lovecrafts voice.The rest of the bridge stared at him for a moment.
