-Well, who is it? Sheesh, talk about rude. Kind of like if a newsreader came on television and said "Hey, there's a new study out that an everyday item found in most households will malfunction and explode in 5 minutes and injure millions! Tune in at 9 for this exciting story!"...

Oh, wait...nevermind.....Lobo

Ummm... that would be me.

There is a limit to what I can do, but if there is anything that anybody thinks needs fixing on the site, please let me know.

Yes, I figured those of you with a modicum of intelligence figured out it was me. I posted that for the rest of you folks. ;)

And, yes, John is alive.

Well, how about setting it up so that various drug manufacturers and porn purveyors etc can't bombard us with unwanted spam?

There is no way to do this for every case, or it would be built into the php forum software.

I think that if it is checked regularly That Geko has the means to remove it. As their are about a dozen regular users maybe posting should be given a time in group before being cleared . The first time being 24 hours as most of these are hackers that are finding sites with ready entrance and posting thier links never to return agin. I believe if we don't open their links no message will be sent confirming a path and they won't put us on a list as active. Maybe no one from here should go to  these sites from this site and that, That information should be told to new members. Alot of servers used by hackers have an activity circut that shows promising paths to the hacker. The big thing is don't incouarge these idiots , No member should click on any link form this site without being aware of who posted it (No matter how Inviting) This will prevent the worms from finding their way here.WOO WORMS

These posts aren't being made by hackers, they're being made by programs that know how to join a forum and make a single post. They scan through the IPs until they find one, and then join up.

I have seen ads in my E-mail (Bulkmail) offering jobs for piecemeal programers That useing their program you forward their link by surfing the net. Supposely their programs record your vists and credit you for future pay based on responce from those sites. The automatic blanket programs also exsist but alot of outfits (Spamers) have found that the human mind no matter how limited can choose sites that they are more likely to get reponce from than random machine hunting. I have seen backwater Motels in various states renting rooms to these AS///Fools They set up banks of computers and have employees set all day long programing. When it gets to hot (Feds ect.) They close up shop and move on.
