OK, wells hows about some tactics for a deck. Any advice on how to deal with dragons or other uncontrollable threats? Any cards that are a no brainer or even needed aside of the general mindsucker battery?

You'll need ships and transport methods to move crew around. Once you
infect someone you'll want to be able to move that crew to other units to
take control of them I would think.

Since your primary tactic will be to play infestors, if you play them against
enemy crew, you'll need to be able to negate things they have to discard
cards played against them, so I'd use reactionary worlds, and C9 Time
Knights, and a C10 Time Knight, etc.

I've never considered an infestors deck, so this is just off the top of my
head... I'm sure others here will have better advice.

I would use hazards and monsters to supplement your filarian deck...the
monsters can attack anything...and the hazards will allow you to kill a
Scintillating dragoness thus letting you get through to the sector
headquarters. I don't know how else you would manage...

I read up on the Filarians; they can be killed with research applied to the
filarian, so you'll need cards that allow you to remove applied research
from other cards. I think there are a couple of promo T7's that allow you
to do this, and the Battle Bird promos also allow you to do this.

Also, filarians have to be played on your own crew, so you'll need lots of
crew and transportation to get them onto enemy ships and bases. You
should also use H4 Sargassos's in your fleet as well, as they require that
the opponent you play it on spend 4 research each to target the ships in
your fleet that you've taken over. You might also want to consider using
R/A4 Genetic Evolutions; you can use them to prevent card actions
affecting your infected crew, and you can discard them to discard any
ability card in an opponent fleet. That would be a good way to get rid of a
big molting on a Dragon.

Oh yeah, and Time Skips too... you can skip a molting right off the back of
a dragon and then attack the dragon without it having the benefit of the
extra strength of the molting.
