Ok, so, making a poll showcasing your point of view is doing what exactly?
Other then leading the way to dictatorship?
What happens next? Will people start getting banned for not thinking the way you do, or worse, banned for expressing their opinions?
Name calling aside, Moderators of chat forums and others like them are best if unheard from, and kept in check by a master moderator who owns the site. A person with no interest in the discussion matter, there only to weed out the stuff that doesn't fit with the sites criteria.
Like Porn Ads on a gaming site.

Wow...

That is either some world class sarcasm or one enormous chip on WW's shoulder.

Slow down, breathe deeply, it'll all be ok. :)

Hey Wolfie Slow Down, GeKo is just expermenting with the programablity and showing us all what we might be able to use to our benifit.  He is here alot more than John and if someone should want a poll we are now aware that we could contact  Gego and organize it. No one is forced to respond to any poll. But isn't it good to know there are other methods at our disposal as a result of having an active moderator?

Is everyone supposed to be able to vote in this poll? If so, you don't have my option up there.

Reactionary world should be limited to one per deck and be unable to be placed into the reserve fleet.

Although, I would be fine with 4 per deck if it were unable to be placed into the reserve and was a persona.

This was a test? Am I not correct? Geko you were just testing the system? If not how would we go about getting our opinions regestered. Would  you take our opinions and decide how we are voting? Would we be limited to those four choices? Good Test but it needs work.

It's not about slowing down. It's about the problem with moderated sites where the moderators have an active issue in the topics and threads.

I've been on a couple of gamer related forums (Banned from one, for just the reasons listed above; They didn't like my opinions, so I was shown the door) and I don't agree that this site needed active moderation.

Just someone to set up filters to keep the non GE public away with maybe a few security type questions to test a person's knowledge of the game so as to weed out non-players/porn spammers.

Setting up polls isn't required here, as anyone with a question can and  usually does simply post a new thread related to that question. Case in point, the entity issue I posted a week or so ago.

-Howdy folks. Geko, i logged in, can't vote, although i don't know if that was the intended test or just setting up the poll graphic itself. If i were to vote, i would vote not to restrict it in any further way than already is done due to its strength in deck stocking rules.

Bottom line: It's a poll. He's not coming to your house and stealing your beer. Calm down. Y'all drink too much caffeine or something.....Lobo

Thanks guys.

Yes, this was a test. I posted as many options that I could think of. What I did not do was allow you to vote for more than one. From what you guys described as your options, voting more than once would solve it.

But, it seems that none of you can vote anyway. At the bottom of the poll there should be a button, that would allow you to cast your vote. Let me set up another one and see. I was able to vote right away.

Wolfie, I have no problems with you expressing your opinions of the game or the cards. What I have a problem with, is the way you express your feelings towards other people. The name calling just isn't necessary.

You guys wanted someone to clean up the site a bit, that is what I am doing. I've gotten rid of the spam (at least in the first two pages worth of posts). Other than that I am extremely hands off, and if anybody thinks I am crossing over the line and being too much of a moderator, rather than a player, call me on it. Until then, play continues as normal.

I'm testing this whole poll thing out, to see what is possible. If no one wants a poll, I truly don't care. But, if you request one, I am able to oblige, just wanted to let all of you know that it is possible.

Oh, and one last thing...

Wolfie, I would leave myself before asking/telling somebody else to leave. Do you understand what I am saying?!?

Leave? Leave what? I never asked or told anyone to leave. If someone wants to leave, I won't stop them. Players in games come and go, and usually because of a disagreement on rules.

I've been an active gamer for almost 30 yrs now. I've done it all, and I've seen/heard it all.

My decision now is to simply sit back and watch for awhile. I don't need the grief that seems to surround this game.

If H actually manages to secure the rights, I'll take a more active role in discussions. But for now, I'm settling into a nice WoW existence again, and GE can go back to what it was: Cards on my shelf gathering dust, with exceptions to the ones I use on Saturdays.

Ummm... And I quote...

I used to think you knew what you were talking about Mog, but obviously I was mistaken, so do this: Leave again. I hear your village has posted a reward for your safe return.

That wasn't you telling Mog to leave?

Ok, that's true. He threatened to leave, so I was merely holding the door open for him. After all, I'm a nice guy deep down, and I didn't want it to hit him on the way out.
;)

Like I said, I would leave myself before asking/telling somebody else to leave.

So, you should have nothing to worry about. :)

well wolf, I guess when you said I could go with Mog. it wasn't asking me to leave either.  Well I guess your command of the English language was mutinied.  I never threatened to leave.  Hey I don't want you to leave, just take several chill pills before logging on.

No, Wolfie, I don't want you to leave, but, please refrain from going off on other members. I've had to smooth quite a few feathers, and that is not typically my area of expertise.

If someone does not understand the cards the way that you do, it is not because they lack intelligence. It is most likely the forum in which we communicate. Yes, the English language can be that difficult to understand, even more so when you factor in the lack of body language and tone. (Right, Lobo?)

-Me personally doesn't matter anyway, Geko. I lack the ability to communicate through body language because i'm fat and lazy. Hard to tell if i intend to offend or just have a bad case of post-chili gas most of the time.....Lobo, soon-to-be uncle of what appears to be a peanut if the pictures are to be trusted.
