-Howdy. The Magnifier is great, the transgate grand, but they are not my favorite. Yes, my main deck right now is a Scorpead deck i am having fun designing/tweaking/playing once every month or so. And no, i have never actually played a deck that uses what 'favorite' i am about to say, but what the hell.
My favorite is the Mine Deployment System.
Main reason it that it's a unique way one empire has that utilizes *other* cards that may or may not be a tool for most other decks. The other things are nice, but either annoying as hell (Transgate) or self-contained (the rest). I like the 'flavor' it gives Tufor and secures their place in the pantheon of empires that have nifty stuff unique to them.....Lobo

I like the Trans Gate the way it sounds not having actualy been able to use any in a game I can't say it is the most effective but it sounds like you could get out of Dodge in a hurry or appear anywhere in Flash

I have to go for the phaser magnifier. BUt all are good. What about shield penetration device or manuever systems or the others unmentioned. Also, the sytems should be separated weapons versus others. the phase mag and MDS i would consider weapons. well geko, I would rule out the MDS and Phase magnifier and EMF for you designing since they were there before you.

You could always cheat and look up the various cards. I didn't but you could.

I know the question was favorite but my vote for best ship system is still the specialized weapon mount - it can be any weapon you want!
I voted for the EMF in the poll, sooo many shields and crew combat decks never caught on here.

That is correct.
That leave Transgate and Armor System.
I designed the Armor System and George designed the Transgate.

You designed the armor system? You must have played Car Wars at some point in your gaming history then, since the Armor System plays just the same as Metal armor does in Car Wars.

I've been in the game industry for 13 years, and was an avid gamer for the 13 years prior to that.
So, yes, I've played car wars, in its many forms.
There is a difference between the two. The Armor System you do not have to activate if you do not want to.
