I think it's either Lobo or Galaktische... could either of you post your Tufor deck? I'm trying to make 100-card decks to teach some of my friends how to play that incorporate various GE mechanics so the players can get a feel for the game. Currently, I have Corporate, Dragon, Mechad, Vektrean, Tufor, and Visonic (just finished tonight) built, but my Tufor deck doesn't seem to be meshing together well.

Could anyone post their list? I'd like to make it somewhat competitive. I've limited all these decks to no more than 5 promos, and only any promos if they compliment the strategy particularly well (aka dragons + promo dragon terrain). Any help would be appreciated.

one of the national champion's deck was published in one of the Galactic Fire magazines. He played Tufor.

Ah, I was hoping the deck used a strategy involving their mines... is it possible to make an effective deck, using mines, that doesn't suck? Otherwise, I'll probably switch the Tufor deck over to an Argonian one.

Lobo's Tufor deck is getting to be pretty tough. I'll poke him in the ribs and get him to post.

-Howdy. I have two versions of this deck, this is my alpha version (sorta, the first Tufor deck i played against galaktishce was a bit different, and imo stronger but wanted to try something a bit different), 105 cards. I am not real happy with it but will try playing it versus Galaktische if he ever plays me again. Hoping for this coming Monday. Comments welcome, i will likely shave this thing down to around 75-80 after a play day and any comments.

Before anyone asks, i do not have tech breakthroughs, alliance treaties, stolen tech, or surprise attacks. I do have two Manufacturing Plants and will likely add them to the 75-80 card version as well as cut down crew to a few Cyber Programmers and Cyber Mages.

Do you have any E4 Fusion Mines?
5 damage.

Or how about the E8 Tufor Mine accelerator?
allows you to use the mines in both card play phases.

Both are found in AT.

oh, and a side note. Unless you tell somebody you are dueling them with a Tufor deck well in advance, nobody plays with Minesweepers, so your L4 Unsuccessful Minesweeping is a waste.

-Nope, have neither of those equipment cards and yes, i know a miscom is better. Don't care, not using the card. Perhaps i will swap for Lucky Shield Repair or some other L4 not named Miscommunication in my whittling-down phase. Thanks for the comments, appreciate the feedback.....Lobo

-Tufor 80 card update, the 100+ version didn't go as well as planned, but much of my frustration was due to an early Luck Demon that i had no fast way to deal with.

I played this deck last night using a mid-range Scorpead deck and we had (imo) a really good duel. It lasted around an hour and centered on an early R/C5 Mutineer I manged to stick on Lobo's S10(?) Council of 6 ship a couple of times. Lobo's fleet easily outgunned me early on but I was able to use a combination of O5 Breakdowns and H1 Time Warps to stretch the game out until I could establish control.

I think the real turning point was Lobo's inability to get to 6 reseach so he could buy back the Tufor Stasis Mine thing from his discard pile followed by me sticking the Vektrean asteroid Flagstar. From that point, I was able to slowly grind down his fleet while minimizing his ability to damage my fleet and avoiding any 'hidden' targeting errors he may have had.

If you should ever find yourself in a duel against Lobo you'll need to hang on the first 5 or so turns as he ALWAYS gets off to a fast start. He always seems to have an S10 on turn 2/3.
