-Howdy. I've been using Paint.net to create some card templates and samples for kicks in both the style of GE and an Ancient Empires idea i'm kicking around with a history buff friend of mine.
I edited this post as i cured my previous problem, but was wondering if anyone out there had a good source or artistic bent for some free source images for ships, locations, space phenomena etc for updated card images? i foudn a few looking for more let me know.

Take a look at some of the old GE cards. The art of Josepha Haveman is copyright Wayzata Technologies and is found on the CD Space, Time & Art.
I don't think we paid anything to use this art.

Just do a google search for "desktop wallpaper" or "desktop pictures" or
"PC wallpaper", etc. You'll get plenty of hits to look for images to use.
