As a clarification I would like to know what are the correct rules for deck stocking 5 of your 8 card types. Do you have to have 1,2,3,4,5 or can you have any combo of card strength up to your highest?

Ex: 1,1,1,1,1 or 1,1,1,2,2 or 1,2,3,3,3 ect.....

EX:Could you have say 5 time skips and have that be your O?

For your example, yes, 5 Time Skips could be your O cards. If you have
more than 8 types, you don't need to meet the 5 card minimum rule for
those extra types, but you still have to follow the stocking rules for
strength.

As far as I understand it, you can stock any number of cards of a
particular type, but you have to follow the rulebook about strengths.

8x 1, 2, or 3 strength
4x 4 or 5 strength
3x 6 or 7 strength
2x 8 or 9 strength
1x 10 strength

You also have to make sure you don't break your line; that is, you can't
leave a gap in your strengths, such as 5 time skips and 1 O10 Planetary
Destruction for example, without using an exception. Every card past a
break is considered an exception, so you couldn't just put a bunch of
high strength cards in a deck; every card would be an exception.

I personally think exceptions should be any break in a sequence, rather
than each card past a break in a sequence, but that's just me.

I tend to 'top load' my decks, in other words, I tend to only put 1 strength
1, 1 strength 2, etc. in for a lot of my types. There are certain types I
don't do this for, such as Equipment; I really like to pair up an R/E2
Tractor Beams and R/E3 Emergency Power; they work really well together
so I tend to use 8 of each in my decks and pair them up so I have a good
chance of drawing them together.

The smallest deck I have ever seen was a 40 card Geko deck that was just
outrageous!! From what I hear...in a duel...it can be extremely hard to beat.
