I like the look of the J'xar and am thinking about putting together a deck of them. I noticed that the S6 is a persona. I think that means that only one of them can ever be in play in a game.

Is this correct?

If so I wonder why? I had thought about making a carrier fleet and wanted to include multiple carriers but that is just a theme.

Can the other J'xar ships deploy fighters (ie: E cards) via their jump gates or is this limited to the carrier?

Thanks for your replies...

J--

-I think i can answer the persona question if my reading of the rules is correct. As i understand, there can only be one specific persona on the table period. So if you play a "J'xar Winged Bastiche" that is persona, that one is the only one that can be in play period.

However, if an opponent or card takes that persona out of play somehow and an opponent plays the same persona, it is a legal card play. When the first-played persona comes back "into existence" it must be discarded.

Hope that helps, have a good one.....Lobo

The J'xar Carrier is a Persona, meaning there can be only one in play at a time. Stocking multiples in your deck would allow you to play the card again if the first is destroyed.

The Carrier is the only J'x ship which may use it's Transgates to deploy & recall most shuttles & fighters (as per the rules on the Carrier). However, the R/S5 J'xar Fighter may be recalled via any active transgates, as per the rules on the Fighter.
