I love the art of the Leopan ,POT and Scorp ships but I gotta say my Overall favorite is Leopan
Awesome defencive potential ,good firepower,2 S7s,one of which is a boarding party ship. With an excellant ally in the Trochijidae.
Whats yours?

For me it's a toss-up between my Vektrean and Bolaar decks. I love being
able to use foreign tech. I put 8 R/E2 Repulsion Beams and 8 R/E3 Shroud
Webs in both decks, as well as 4 R/E4 Multipurpose Phasers.
In my Bolaar deck I have a full compliment of Violator Pirates, and two of
the C7 Violator Chieftans that let you use foriegn and exclusive tech on
their ships. I stack up an S9 Violator Dreadnought with the C7 Chieftan
and an E9 Shroud. Very nasty when I get them all into play. :D

I love the art of the Leopan
Are you serious? Maybe I'm a little biased because I created them, but I think the art stinks. We created it in about an hour because the artist that submitted the art for the ships did not follow the direction I gave him. He submitted preliminary sketches which were exactly what I wanted, and then, the final art was totally different. So, I decided not to use his art, and come up with our own.

hmmm... after looking at the art, i guess we did actually decide to use their art, it's the S7, 8 and 9, that we created at the last second.
The original concept art was far superior though.

Favorite Race to play? Mechad, without a doubt, they have the STRONGEST ships in the game.
Favorite Race? Oh, I am a money grubbing, arms-dealing, weapons smuggler at heart! ;)

Bump.
I'm in the process of building a Zedan deck, meant to be a denial and
retribution deck... Garshain Indirigans are going to be the minor empire.
Lots of reactionary weapons fire, a War Prophet, Time Knights, Prophets,
Ancient Spacefarers, etc. Should be fun. It might become my favorite
deck.
My favorite race is still Bolaar... ARRR!!!

That's because you need the promo terrain to really make them hum. The deck I sold to Drakmoore had all of it and more, and in a duel it is devastating. Just the Void Dragoness doubling hazards is bad enough.

Just don't put 22's on it. They won't clear the wheel wells...

Maybe I'm doing something wrong then... I've got a full set of the Promo
dragon terrain in my deck and I still can't get a Dragon engaged before it
gets blown away.

Hmm, some of the terrain I have lets you play a dragon engaged... You must not have the good dragon terrain promos.. ::shrugs::

The one that lets you play them engaged isn't a promo =P its the T7 Dragon Lair. If your dragons die too fast thats not a dragon problem, sounds more like a table problem, but I guess you just gotta play what works.

Drak's right, it's the T7 lair from Piracy. I have three of them in my deck. I
do really need to rethink how it's built though. And it is a table problem,
because lots of us now have our primary or I guess you could say our class
"A" decks built on fleets that are pretty high powered to begin with. For
example, Council of Six or Garshain Indirigans, Aqaaran, stuff like that.
It seems the key to success with Dragons is getting them into play
engaged, and the T7 lair is essential for that. You have to have two of
them in play to get its ability though, so I've been considering putting two
of them and two A7 Defended Territories into the reserves to try and
insure I can get dragons into play engaged and keep the lairs from getting
blown away.

Throwing a D1 Scintillating Dragoness onto the T5 usually keeps you around for a few turns. ;)

Ok, send me a list of what you need to make it hum, and I'll see what I have. I know I have a bunch of terrain too.
