So lets have an Art Disscussion to decide on the best art GE produced.List cards from different Series, Different Values like best Ship , best Crew Best Dragon, Best Occurance ect. ect. We could have a vote for best Overall, Most Realistic, Zaniest,Most far out. I realize that this is a matter of opinion but just for fun....

I'm particularly fond of the art on the C4 Lieutenant. Probably because it's
a very well done portrait of a very attractive woman. (I find black hair on
women extremely attractive.)

For Terrain I like the Nuetron Star the best. ;)
For Crew, I have several: Supermodel, War Prophet, and the Quartermaster.
(did anyone notice the Not-so-supreme Leader giving everyone the finger?

I also liked jael's work. See Dream State.
Which is why I hired her to do more work for us.
I also like the Sexy Webcrawlers.

-Howdy. As to the C8 flipping us off, i figured it was one of two possibilities. Either it was an unintentional presentation of the illustration when condensed to the card (a la the 1991 Upper Deck Frank Thomas baseball card) or it was intentional and no one cared.
I thought about it for a few seconds, and jsut resolved it at i woudl never truly know, so time to get another beer from the fridge.

I'm not Robert Kraus, but some of my friends have a few large prints of his art that would have been used in later cards that never saw the light of day. It's pretty cool stuff.

I had alot of the origanal art before my devorce. Unfortunately I never got into my house agin to get it off the walls.Every wall was a different spacescape. Ex wife, nasty lawyers no money. You do the math Big Zero Its floating around the southwest now. I am an antigue, art dealer by design in the fabric of life. I bought all these cards on a whim from one of my pickers to help him out when he was forced out of his farm. Old farmers never die they just have big brother take it all back. Anyways enough history. My favavorite piece is the Captain. I think it best shows the game for how it should be felt. I might be bias because I have 50 of the signed posters. 500 were signed but never made the market. All mine are numbered under a hundred. Talk about hurting for wall space, Collect Art. Douglas Chaffee created a masterpiece in Science fiction Art with these works. I origanaly loved the Super Model but my ex was a model that soured it for me. She looked that good (silent hidden tear) Gotta remember the hidden ugly inside Ahhh oh well another beer and sort some more cards. maybe a smoke?

Hey wolfie, how about star blazersw/ derik wildstar.
Best HQ - I'd say the J'xar... Worst toss up CC, Paktadon, Orgon, Trchilidae, but more than likely Treglean
Although I am partial to dragons, i thought the artwork was lame though as with most universe HQs the holo made them more interesting.

Eaglepreacher, What Dragon do you think is best though? I actualy like the orgon in a modern art sence. Aqarians are good though I think they lost alot in reduction.

No, of that I am sure of. I know RAK personally, and I know he doesn't have the time to surf the internet even.

Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner! Yes, that was an old joke in our original group, playing a Starburst Accelerator to Argo, and you got a Wave Motion Gun... :) (Sometimes, I even mimicked the sound of the gun powering up to fire; Yes, I watched all of the epsiodes that came to America. I was a Star Blazers Kid, while some of my younger friends got off on F-14's that turned into giant robots...)

Best Sector HQ card?
I would have to go with Geko, J'Xar, and even Argonian.
Worst is Erodi.

Best Sector HQ? I'd say Vektrean or Tufor.
