How do you have your collections stored?
I have three 4-row boxes that hold something like 3500-4000 each, and several of the long-row card boxes. I just bought like 500 penny sleeves and I'm going back through my boxes to sort out playsets of decent cards into each sleeve, so I can rummage through the sleeves and already have my 4-of/3-of/2-of cards ready to go.
Edit: Of course, any promos and cards I lack full playsets of will still be pulled out and stored somewhere for easy access.

I was a poor Janitor who took to the boxes that printer paper came in. By cuting the top two thirds of the box off I made a box that holds 3 rows of about 1200 cards per row. I now have about 20 of these. In my infancy of understanding these cards I did buy aout fifty- thousand card count boxes. I use these for the ships of the different races. I also recycled Boxes that electronic circuts are shipped in for the telephone company They hold about 600 cards single row.I have so many Scorpead ships that they have a box that was used to ship a HP flat screen monitor in. It holds 6 rows of 2000. I took a unused door way in my house a made shelfs in it to hold the single boxes. The bulk of my cards(lesser ones) fill a closet in the guest room.I still have 200 boxes of sealed cards from various printing( not much good )in the wood work shop. I once had a complete set of every card but the big D and two floods ended that. I am about 200 hundred cards short of a complete set now.I need Invaders.I noted while sorting that I have a hundred of each of 2500 different cards that were printed so if any one is looking.....

Does that include promos? And that's quite a collection there. 8)

I have all of mine in 9 pocket pages.
And, I have a *LOT* of pages. It took several displays.
I need about 3 binders to display it all.

That's how Elmer has his "nearly-complete" GE collection, with a small legion of card boxes for the overflow. He has almost one copy of every card from every set ever printed put together... we use that to look for the "most recent text" of a card when we're working on rules problems.

i didn't keep one card from every set ever printed. For example, I only have one Time Warp in my collection.
Also, besides my two play decks, I don't have many additional cards.
One of the downsides of working for the company. I didn't have extras. Whenever I needed a card for reference, or to build a new deck, I just went over and got one out of the drawer.

I have about ten boxes of 3500 cards, sorted by class/then by strength / then alphabetical. Of these cards nothing numbers more than 50 while most are around 24. For the hard to get cards it is substantially less if at all. For the Racial ships I have , if possible, two full decks of maximum ship per strength . eg str1,2,3 = * cards..etc. I also have about 10 binders also sorted by class/strength/alphabetical. These binders are one of each card and where I lack the cards if possible I have a scan of the card in it until I get the card. Thoguh it does lack each version, which I may change eventually.

I have hundreds of some Promos and none of others. The boxes that I lost to floods were unsorted and quite mixed up. The man who got them found alot of them dumped into 55 gallon drums. I recently found out that they were not in the office at the time but being stored in a barn west of Stanford by the landlord untill the Judge gave him permission to dispose of them. I went to the Stanford Fire Chief in an effort to find more of the Fire Dept. Promos He said that there were none at the Firehouse and he was the one who told me about the final resolve. He suggested that I show up at the firehouse early with coffee to talk to the ole timers. I,ve yet to pull that off. Oh I forgot to mention that I have 20 albums full of rares and promos though they are poorly sorted at best. I have alot of the useful cards for players that are hard to get. I sort till I need a brake from it and some times get away from them for a month or 2.

I have all the cards sorted by card type into 3000 and 5000 count boxes. For
example...I have one 5000 count box just for terrain....one 3000 count box
just for Indirigans....etc. With over 100,000 cards....it is a little daunting!!!
