I don't know if this can be done with the software that runs the
forum here, but that nice little directory at the top of each thread?
You know, the one that lets you click back to any point in the
hierarchy?

Can there be one put at the BOTTOM of each thread as well? It
would eliminate having to scroll back to the top of a page to access
it.

I'd actually like the Active Topics button to be placed at the bottom of the thread as well.

But, this falls into Galactus' area. I don't know if it is possible or not.

But, I doubt it.

I'll try to remember to ask him about it. He's pretty busy right now
preparing for burning man.

It may very well not be possible; most of these web forum canned
packages don't give that kind of control over layout and I'm pretty
sure E-man doesn't know how to HTML code... he starts turning
green if I even mention anything dealing with the command line
when he's asking me for help with OSX... :P

Yeah, this one doesn't even seem to let you edit posts....

The edit button has been inconsistent for me. Sometimes it's there,
sometimes it isn't. Right now I see it, but tomorrow? Who knows...

is that a bug or a feature?  I can understand not letting you edit someone else's post, but your own?

I dunno... like I said, it's inconsistent.

I'll talk to Emanuel to see if he knows anything about it, or can do
anything about it. We're getting together for some gaming this
Sunday so I'll try to remember to bring it up. We're not necessarily
playing GE so I can't make any promises. We've been trying to
actually finish a game of Twilight Imperium for a couple of years
now (not the same game) so we may not play GE at all. :o

As far as I can tell it's canned software that runs the forum, so
there must be some sort of relatively simplified interface to
administer it, so it shouldn't be too hard. Don't think you should
have to be an HTML whiz/programmer to administer the site...
