This set has a bad reputation with certain players.

Some playtesters stated that we should never NEVER release the set. And, if we do, they will never buy it. (of course, I caught the individual that made that statement with CC cards in his tournament deck shortly after the release).

What cards in the set do you not like?
Which cards are unbalanced?

The Installation thing seems to be the biggest issue. Being able to drop up to 3 of these on turn 2 just seems ridiculous.

What I hate is another player can control the installations.  The Lobster points pretty much stink too.

If Installations had been made "Units" I could care less.

I find Comedy  Club a comical diversion. After seeing some of the stress that people seem to be under around here- a Lobster Boat, a car salesman, and now for something completely different, help me take it all in stride. As a newbee after seeing some of the attitude displayed here makes me wonder what I got into. Comedy Club reminds me its just a game and I got the most powerful fleet in the Universe anyway. So der I,m taking my marbles and going home. PAZ YA ALL MOSTSPACEMAN P.S> Catch you on the FARSIDE  I still have 8 cases of Comedy Club 12 decks to a case. Just waiting for a new home.

Too bad you don't have Allied Forces starters or Galactic Invaders boosters.
Hell, I'd be happy getting my hands on some Persona boosters.

The installations being able to be controlled by another player was a balancing point to being able to drop 3 on turn 2.

I think it works well.

And, I think the game needed more than just Dragons not being able to be effected by all of the R save cards.

First of all, Dragons are Immune to all Occurrences. So that rules out a few cards. But, Dragons are treated as ships with regards to other reaction (ie:Luck) cards. The only Luck cards that are meaningless to Dragons are Phaser Malf and Def Override. Three people in our group run Dragons (Ryan, Geo and now Harley), so we researched the rules quite thoroughly.
Other then a very few exceptions, you can't play crew or equipment to dragons either.
Now, when I am fighting CCN, I switch out all of my ship-specific Luck cards, which I have about 45 of in my Tournament Dueling deck. The updated Luck list, looks like this:
1) L-1 Ancient's Orb
8) R/L-2 You missed me...
8) R/L-3 Unlucky Targeting
1) R/L-4 Miscomm (for those few bases)
4) L-5 Weapons Security
3) R/L-6 Lucky Maneuver
3) R/L-6 Distress beacon
3) L-6 Artifact: Scepter of Time
3) L-7 Artifact: Stargate
3) R/L-7 Temp Correct
3) R/L-7 Anomaly Portal
3) L-7 Alien Artifact
2) L-8 Well of Time
2) L-8 Frayed Time Spindle
2) R/L-8 Targeting Error
2) R/L-8 Vacuum Effect
2) R/L-8 Twist of Fate
2) L-8 Altered Timeline
2) L-9 Accelerated Timeline
2) L-9 Discard Equivalency
2) L-9 Demobilization

There ya go. If you want to duel the Wolf, better bone up on reaction defense... :)
2) R/L-9 Murphy's Law

I have tons of personna, invaders, and allied their just loose. I bought 2 boxes on E-bay and there were alot of repeats and very few were ones I needed. Now invaders and allied on the other hand I find them hard to find. What you looking for? A deal I had going for some promos fell through so I am still looking for Promo 4.
