OK so there are a few races that don't have viable play stratagies that alow them to be formitable. Lets create some cards that give them stay power. Psi , Krebiz ,and Clydon. It could be a Equip, Crew ,or Ship for a start. no power higher than 6. A lower card could last 3 turns ,a 6 one turn. Any takers?  You could also use exsisting cards with slight rules changes. Nothing Mega

R/C-6 Warcraft Commander                      **

Irrational times call for irrational judgments...

-May only be played in a Clydon Deck.
-When in play on a Clydon ship that can carry warcraft, allows one warcraft already in play to be combined with his ship without consuming a card play.
-When played in reaction, allows any one warcraft to be played from the hand directly to a Clydon carrier (any size) in reaction to that unit taking fire. Warcraft Commander is discarded after this is done.
-The warcraft just played may fire its phasers in reaction at a unit targeting its location.

E/3 Lobster Sissiors- Developed by the Kribiz during the Crustaian wars to consume Lobsters. Carried by Doctors to help crack shells. When on a Krebiz Ship a doctor with Sissiors can in reaction  reverse a volley from an attacking opponent causeing damage equal to volley to attacking ship or Dragon. As this was not its intended use, it will  destroy the doctor and itself causing both to be vaporized Discarded with the Doctor after use. If used on attacking ship doubles damage for single volley. Discarded after use B/S May crack any Lobster loose in the house for free.

::points up:: I thought we agreed nothing Mega? The E-3 of yours far exceeds the Mega by lots.
Reversing a Weapons volley?
Hello, Targeting Error?
That and the flavor text doesn't line up with the cards function, not that Flavor Text has to mean anything.

Scissors. Crustacean. Causing. Just trying to help the spelling issues.

Since we are doing cards why bother.  It would be easier just to change the racial rules and apply it to overide the card rules.  For clydon, allow the warcraft that are react to automatically combine.  This gives the clydon the extra it needs to survive with the additional shielding and armor.  For the krebiz allow a capsule and cruiser to be played together for one card play and to separate for free during a specific phase only, else it costs a card play, or separate any time during the players turn for free.  For the Psys how about fields being played for free if played along with terrain. if the terrain already in play it takes a card play.

Those are good ideas Eagle, and ones that can be readily implemented into the existing game mechanic without too much duress.

So we would now have the following rules addendum:

Clydon Warcraft that are Reactionary may now be played directly to a carrier when played in reaction. This eliminates the card rule that forces them to be played independently.

Since the Universe Edition of the Krebiz only have ships and capsules combined, and no stand along capsules or ships, I would suggest just using the Universe versions of the Krebiz and tossing out all previous editions. Yes, I know, it detracts from their uniqueness, but they have other specialty cards that give them a racial punch (Krebiz Sabot Sequencers and Armor Plating)

And for Psis, All fields are played engaged and may be used the turn they are played; their engagement cost must be paid on the following and subsequent turns however.
